A service to honor the life of Mr. Nolan Freeman will be at 9 am Monday, July 9, 2018, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Buster Jordan officiating.  Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Robeline, LA.  The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 7 pm on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Nolan, 75 years of age and a beloved local Vietnam Vet of Robeline, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018.  He was born on July 3, 1943, to Herman Freeman and Ethel Mae Berry Freeman in Burkeville, TX.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sons, Brady, Stanley and Tim.  Nolan was sincerely dedicated to God, his family, friends and his country.  He was always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need.  Nolan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and even a great grandfather.  He was always diligently providing for both his family and his community. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and became an avid fisherman at an early age.  He enjoyed teaching his family about his expertise in fishing as his ability to catch fish was second to none.  He also enjoyed spending time unwinding from work with his favorite drink – Community Coffee.   Most importantly he was a God-fearing man that loved his savior Jesus Christ. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Kerry Mitchell Freeman; son, Bradley Freeman and wife Paola; daughter, Tonya Marr and husband Jody; grandchildren, Brandon Freeman, Kelsey Marr, Hannah Freeman, Emily Marr, Jennifer Santana-Rivas, Patrick Freeman and Steven Freeman; as well as 5 great grandchildren.
